Situational Writing rewards students who understand exactly who they are writing for, why they are writing, and which format earns the most marks. Most students approach it as an afterthought. In this dedicated four hour session, it becomes one of their strongest components.
Situational Writing is one half of Speak Up, Score Up™. Pair it with the separate Oral Communication bootcamp and your child covers the full 27% of PSLE English marks that most students leave almost entirely unprepared, each delivered as its own focused four hour session.
Your child will learn how to identify the purpose and audience instantly, select the right register for each text type, and write with the precision that PSLE markers reward. This includes the newer formats such as the article, which appeared in PSLE 2025.
